Sing it like The Beatles song ob-la-di ob-la-da
Rachel taught me yoga in the market square
She always told me what to do
Rachel says your shoulders they are up too high
And then I say I don’t know what to do
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
Rachel in a ball that she put me in
Upside down the blood was in my head
When the man said can I bring you up
The answer easy no was all I said
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
Rachel told me that she is going away
She says she’s moving all the way up isle
I say that I am happy for her all the best
But I’m sad that I won’t see her lovely smile
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
Ob-la-di, ob-la-da
Life goes on, brah
La, la, how the life goes on
Happy ever after in her place up North
She opens up a place that’s full of peace
I say they are lucky they are in for a treat
They say come join us she’d love us all to meet
Ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on brah
La-la how their life goes on
Ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on brah
La-la how their life goes on
And if you want to have some fun (ya ya ya)
Take ob-la-di-la-da (ha ha ha)

“My teacher” is moving away. My yoga journey is deeply connected to her and for sure seemingly impossible to have been even imagined, I couldn’t have. But her unrestrained belief in me is uplifting, energizing, and represents what life is truly about. I have learned so much from her about yoga, teaching, and what travels in the universe (don’t roll your eyes). She has always been a supportive force when I was in doubt or venturing into the unknown. I am so happy for her as she attains a long held goal.
I am so very lucky that our paths crossed.
Love you Rachel.
David
Note: obviously ob-la-de is a Beatles song that I messed with.
